Last night saw the series finale of the show (well, it's been cancelled before, but everyone thinks it will actually "take" this time!), and before and after the episode aired on Comedy Central there was a live-streaming video called "
Futurama Live!" on YouTube, sponsored and hosted by The Nerdist. In the pre-show portion, they revealed that
December 10th will see the release of
Futurama - Volume 8 on DVD and Blu-ray Disc, with all 13 episodes (including last night's finale) which aired on Comedy Central this past summer. A release of
Futurama - The Complete Series is also in-the-works, and might possibly come out on the same date (however, those plans haven't been finalized yet). Fox Home Entertainment hasn't officially announced it yet, so we don't have formal details yet, but stay tuned! In the meantime, here's the
