The game comes with the Flextime Game Board (for long or short games), 160 Trivia Cards, 30 Buzz Cards, 4 Reference Cards, 1 Six-Sided Numbered Die, 1 Eight-Sided Category Die, and of course the DVD filled with scenes and images from 10 seasons of
Friends and filled with hundreds of trivia challenges. There are also 4 Collectible Metal Tokens: a Big Coffee Cup, a Recliner (Joey/Chandler-style), a Skyscraper, and the Picture Frame (from Monica's door).
James Michael Tyler hosts the DVD as his "Gunther" character from the show, and he does a great job with it (including poking fun at himself). The trivia questions, both on the cards and on the DVD, were a good mix of easy, intermediate and hard in my opinion. I am a
Friends-oholic, and know a lot of trivia about the show, but the folks who put this game together were able to stump me often enough to make the game a challenge! Yet others who played with me and aren't nearly into the show as much as I am were able to get far enough in the game to not feel like my victory was automatic. Fun for all!
The SRP for this release is $39.99, although you can find it for less in retail stores now. Amazon isn't listing it yet, but you can keep an eye on the
