NBC-Universal has put together a two-page advertisement that will be used in upcoming issues of home video industry trade magazines, highlighting many of their Fall 2007 releases of TV-on-DVD product. One of the new titles seen in the ad is
Friday Night Lights - The 1st Season, and we've got the box art for you below. Normally we would trim the picture to show just the box art, and not the surrounding background. But this time we decided to give you a "wider" shot, so you can see that the ad presents a *really* nice price for this release!
This hour-long drama's kickoff season had 22 episodes, including the pilot, so a cost of $29.98 SRP is just, well, low! We have to wonder if that might be a typo, even (
Update: We checked with Universal and the price is correct. What a deal!!). As you can see, the release date given is
August 28th, which is the same day NBC-Universal also ships the DVDs (and HD DVDs) for
Heroes.
