The BBC America Shops blog has
posted an entry earlier this week, announcing that the 1984 mini-series
Freud is in the works for for DVD. It stars David Suchet in an award-winning role, who has since made a huge name for himself as Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot. Also among the cast is Michael Pennington as Carl Jung; Pennington was the lead character in 1987's
The Return of Sherlock Holmes, and was also the commander of the second Death Star ("Moff Jerjerrod") in
Star Wars: The Return of the Jedi. Michael Kitchen of
Foyle's War is also found in this cast. The blog post says we'll see the
Freud DVDs in 2010, but doesn't give an exact date yet. Stay tuned for updates!
