Over a month ago we
had the scoop about Lionsgate Entertainment's plans for a
September 14th release of
Fraggle Rock - Scared Silly on DVD. That was confirmed today when the studio formally announced the title, a single disc costing $14.98 SRP. You'll get 3 Halloween-themed episodes of the original series (named in the studio description above), plus several bonus episodes!
One of these is the episode "Wembley and the Bemble" from 1987's
Fraggle Rock: The Animated Series ("
After listening to a scary story from the Storyteller, Wembley becomes afraid of the legendary Bemble"). The other is from Jim Henson's
The Animal Show with Stinky & Jake, an episode titled "Tarantula & Mole." Also on board is a Sing-Along for "The Ballad of Sir Blunderbrain"! The official running time is 74 minutes, with episodes presented in full screen video and English 2.0 Dolby Digital audio. It's also closed captioned.
