A little bird has spotting an airborne postulant near a convent, and rushed on over and told us all about it. Yes, rumors have reached our ears about The Flying Nun coming to DVD in 2005. Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is working on the first season, we're informed, for release in the early Fall. The 1967 series aired on ABC and lasted 3 seasons, starring Sally Field as Sister Bertrille. We understand that an earlier Sally Field series, Gidget, is also in the works for the same timeframe.
