Flipper seems to be swimming in circles on his journey to DVD. The set was
supposed to be released by kaBOOM! Entertainment in Canada, then the
set was delayed, which was followed by its
cancellation, but now we have word that it's coming out, just not from kaBOOM!
One of our retail friends is a fan of
Flipper, and he started asking around after hearing word that MGM was working on DVDs for the series. He confirmed with us late last night - MGM is releasing the series at the
end of April. The four-disc set (doubled-sided discs) will be the first season - all 30 episodes (690 mins):
