A week ago we had
a report, live from the EMA Home Expo Show 2008 in Las Vegas, that Warner was showing off a package for
The Flintstones - The Complete Series on DVD, due out before the end of the year. Our on-the-spot man, Gord Lacey, wasn't able to successfully get a picture of the package, but Warner has now shared a picture with us (which was originally posted exclusively by our friends over at The Digital Bits).
Below you see the big "glamour shot," as Warner calls it, with the entire layout of the package and its contents. And below that you'll find a close-up from part of that same picture, showing detail of how the discs slide into the cardboard "pages" in these "books," which then go into the big "Bedrock-style TV" packaging...which you'll also get a close-up of, to see the seam where the top of the "TV" package lifts off, and the glued-on plastic "knob" and the lenticular "screen" picture with Dino busting his head through the roof of Fred's car:
