Flight of the Conchords sparked critical raves and garnered ten Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics and Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series. The show follows the desperate lives of New Zealand natives Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie as they struggle to jump-start their music career in New York City.
