As you know, Shout! Factory will begin shipping on
August 17th (next Tuesday!) their 5-disc set of
Father Knows Best - Season 5 on DVD. This title is not in stores, but will instead be available at the studio's online store, as part of their Shout! Select program (see button link below). The folks at the studio hadn't mentioned any extras to us on this release, but one of our longtime readers took the question directly to them on Twitter.

Yes. 2 episodes from Window on Main Street." As fans of Robert Young know,
Windows on Main Street was Young's follow-up TV series to
Father Knows Best, and episodes of it have only been available as bonuses on various of the
FKB season sets. We're glad to see the studio is continuing this, even while moving the title to their Shout! Select program! And our thanks to Adam for pointing out this exchange to us; we had overlooked it!
