Last Thursday we
reported about bonus material for Shout! Factory's upcoming
June 9th release of
Father Knows Best - Season 3 on DVD. We told you to expect several episodes of the radio version of the program, plus the
Window On Main Street episode "A Doctor Comes to Town." Since then our industry sources have told us a bit more about what to expect!
First off, there will actually be TWO bonus episodes of Robert Young's follow-up series,
Window on Main Street." In addition to "Doctor..." there will also be an episode titled "The Chambermaid." Very nice. Also, among the radio episodes of
Father Knows Best that will be included, you'll find a very special one: the original "audition" (or pilot) episodes of the radio program! Very nice, and we know
FKB fans will be all over this release anyway, but that just makes it even better.
