Back in March 2005, Urban Works held the rights to release
Fat Albert on DVD at the time, and put out a copy of the show's
Easter Special episode that has long been discontinued (though copies still show up at retailers from time to time). These days, the home video rights are exercised by Genius Entertainment, who distributes for Entertainment Rights/Classic Media.
And, according to a
new listing at Amazon, they will re-release
Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids - Easter Special on DVD this
February 10th. This is an early listing, that's not taking pre-orders yet, so there's no pricing or packaging or any other details so far. But we'll keep an eye on it, and on the info at Genius, and we'll follow up when more info is available. Stay tuned!
