Fox has been keeping the release date for their DVD release of
Family Guy - Volume 6 pretty close to the chest, but this morning we've found out what it is!
Amazon is taking pre-orders for this 3-disc set, and their brand new listing shows that it will arrive on
October 21st.
Cost will be $39.98 SRP (minus Amazon's discount, which currently puts it at $27.99, but that could change) for 374 minutes of fun-filled animated episodes. Installments ought to include the 100th episode, "Stewie Kills Lois" (and the follow-up, of course, called "Lois Kills Stewie"). We're expecting tons of extras, as usual, including (hopefully) the "Family Guy 100th Episode Special" that aired just in front of "Stewie Kills Lois".
We've heard conflicting rumors about whether or not "Blue Harvest" would be included on this release. Right now we're leaning toward "don't count on it," since that episode has already been released on
its own separate DVD.
Stay tuned for further updates, with lots more detail and the package art, just as soon as Fox makes it official.
