Trans World Entertainment Corp. ("TWEC") retailers such as FYE, Sam Goody and Suncoast are offering an exclusive DVD, already available in their stores...and apparently it has been since September 26th! But we've just learned about it today, thanks to reader Brett Crystal (we appreciate all the help!). Brett filled us in on the details, and sent us in the pics shown below, that were taken with a cellphone camera (so please excuse the look). We've confirmed that this is indeed in-stores, but the title is not currently found on the websites for TWEC chains such as FYE.com.
The release is titled
Family Guy - Freakin' Christmas, but it carries one holiday episode from that show ("A Very Special Family Guy Freakin' Christmas," a 3rd-season episode available on the
Volume 2 DVD set) and one holiday episode from
American Dad as well ("The Most Adequate Christmas Ever," a 3rd-season episode that is new-to-DVD). Cost is $9.99, per the pricetag shown in the picture below. The release is available only while supplies last, so hurry and pick yours up while you can!
