Yesterday we
reported that Fox's DVD release of
Family Guy - 100th Episode Celebration would be released only in Canada, becoming available there on
June 16th. Today we've gotten some new information, however! Apparently this single-disc release of the "Stewie Kills Lois" and "Lois Kills Stewie" episodes, plus bonus content, will be available in the USA after all. The catch is that it will only be available exclusively at TWEC (TransWorld Entertainment Corp.)-owned chain stores, such as F.Y.E., Suncoast, Coconuts, Wherehouse and Saturday Matinee.
We've received e-mails from several employees of these chains, saying that it will be available to buy at their stores this coming Tuesday,
May 19th! One such e-mail commented "
I unpacked & priced them yesterday. I believe they will be on sale for $5.99." We would like to thank our readres who wrote in; we would normally mention them by name, but we won't because we don't want them to get in trouble with their employers for "talking to the press" (I used to be a retail manager, so I know how that goes!).
