Yesterday, one of our readers spotted
a post at the Game Show Network's discussion forum, by a representative of BCI who was asking for fan input on putting together a pair of DVDs for
Family Feud. The reader, Daniel Wasserman, shot us a note immediately, and we asked BCI to comment on this. And they certainly had something to say! Here is what they sent us:
In our game show followup to our hit title THE BEST OF MATCH GAME comes ALL-STAR FAMILY FEUD – Starring Richard Dawson.
This multi-disc set will includes all the All-Star episodes that featured celebrities battling against celebrities for charity. The set includes such shows as The Jeffersons vs. Dukes of Hazzard and Eight is Enough vs. General Hospital. The list of celebrities is a who-who’s of classic television - Susan Lucci, Heather Locklear, Heather Thomas, Tom Wopat, Catherine Bach, Lou Ferrigno and Joan Collins. This release will be followed in early 2008 with a BEST OF FAMILY FEUD release featuring the pilot, classic episode and Richard’s last episode as the host, plus special features.
This will be a multi disc set with a photo gallery. Release date will be November 2007.
How much fun will that be!?! It's too early for cover art or pricing or any other details, but stay tuned and we'll get the info to you just as soon as we can! Our thanks to Daniel Wasserman for the heads-up, and to our great friends at BCI for their very quick co-operation.
