After our
Price is Right news the other day, we've gotten a few e-mails from readers wanting an update on the the
Family Feud (Richard Dawson era) DVDs that we
reported on two months ago. Fortunately, we came prepared to speak about that!
While we were talking to BCI about
Price, they informed us that the first release,
All-Star Family Feud (featuring celebrities such as Susan Lucci, Heather Locklear, Heather Thomas, Tom Wopat, Catherine Bach, Lou Ferrigno and Joan Collins, in match-up feuds which include "
The Jeffersons" vs.
The Dukes of Hazzard" and "
Eight is Enough vs.
General Hospital") is still on-track for later this year. In our previous story,
November 2007 was the timeframe, and we haven't been told differently. BCI told us "
...we should have an announcement on that very soon."
They also indicated that the episodes are almost set for the non-celebrity edition,
The Best of Family Feud, planned for the first half of 2008. Stay tuned for more on both of these releases!
