At the end of August we
brought you the cover art for
Family Affair - The Complete Series, coming to DVD from MPI Home Video on
November 25th. The studio has sent us some more pictures of the packaging for this 24-disc set, but the pics were flat artwork that didn't show off any depth. So I've worked with the raw art in PhotoShop to simulate a 3-D look at the packaging. It will consist of an outer slip cover, and an angled-cut carrier that holds the disc cases. I've made up a 3-D look at the front of the outer slipcase by itself, a separate 3-D look at the carrier that slides into it, and then below those are a flat look at the rear package art and the "back side" interior picture on the inside carrier.
That rear box art also reveals info about extras on this release, and there's good news there! With the 5th Season release there was
some confusion over the bonus materials, with a Kathy Garver ("Cissy") interview included instead of a Johnny Whittaker ("Jody") interview as we had originally been told. Now it looks like we get both, with the following list of Special Features:
