Two months ago we had the scoop that Falcon Crest - The Complete 1st Season would - at last! - be coming to DVD in 2010. Now Warner Home Video has formally announced the title to retailers and press, with a street date of April 20th officially scheduled. This 4-disc set includes all 18 hour-long episodes from the first broadcast season, shown in full-screen video (as originally broadcast). No bonus material is mentioned in the announcement, so it seems that you will NOT find the original unaired pilot ("The Vintage Years," which had some significant differences from the version of the show that CBS aired).
