Here's an interesting development! There have been around a dozen single-DVD releases that feature episodes of Nickelodeon's
The Fairly Oddparents, including "theme" discs like
Channel Chasers, team-up episodes with Jimmy Neutron in the form of the
Jimmy-Timmy Power Hour releases, and "compilation" DVDs - with episodes of various Nick programs - such as
NickToons Christmas. Now, for the first time, Nickelodeon/Paramount have decided to release a multi-disc "season"-type set for the show!
This morning the studio announced the
November 18th 2-DVD release of
The Fairly Oddparents - Season 6, Volume 1. What's on it? While some of the online episode guides for this show don't sync up with official production seasons, this *apparently* puts the episodes that are included on this release as being those from March to May of 2008 (please take it with a grain of salt, though). Running time is 220 minutes. Video is full screen, audio is English Stereo, and the wish for this release comes true on
