Faerie Tale Theatre fans are probably a bit disapointed with us for not getting this posted sooner, and we apologize. Just a little over a week ago we
told you in a "last-minute" news story that
The Complete Collection was shipping from manufacturer Starmaker II on Wednesday, January 12th. That was three days ago now, and you probably know already that it didn't make it out on time.
To their credit, the management at Starmaker II took it upon themselves to contact us and let us know about the delay. The cited production issues at the manufacturing plant as being the cause of the hold-up, and said that they were told to expect it to be available so it could be shipped in early February, hopefully during the first week. That's not too long a hold-up, and understandable if you know how this business works. Right now we'll just say "February 1st" for now, but please keep in mind that that's a guesstimate, not the exact date. We'll update you when we know the set is shipping; stay tuned!
