Back in early February we
had the scoop on the DVD release date for
Eureka - Season 2, letting you know that our industry sources had provided us with a June 17th release date. We also warned you that it was subject to change, though, and apparently Universal has indeed moved that date back...by about a month.
This morning Universal Studios Home Entertainment announced the
July 15th release of
Eureka - Season 2, a 3-DVD set costing $39.98 SRP. Like the first season set, this will come in some "Eco-Friendly"packaging made from biodegradable materials, which the studio markets as "Designed in Eureka!" (that's a nice touch).
The studio's early info lists the video format as "Full Frame (1.33:1)", but we're going to have to check with them on that (the first season was released on DVD in Widescreen). Audio is English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround, and English subtitles are included. Package art and extras (if any) are not available yet, but stay tuned and we'll keep you updated.
