After a successful
first season release, Universal Studios Home Entertainment is releasing
Emergency! - Season 2 on
February 7th. This classic show starring Kevin Tighe, Randolph Mantooth, Robert Fuller, Julie London, and Bobby Troup returns to DVD with 22 hour-long episodes from the late 1972 to early 1973 portion of the show's run.
John Travolta shows up in the second episode as a guest star, and other guests include Cathy Lee Crosby, Larry Storch, Ronne Troup (Bobby Troup's daughter), Sharon Gless, Jackie Coogan, Dick Van Patten, Laurette Spang, Melissa Gilbert, Kathleen Lloyd, Jamie Farr, Robert Alda, Joe E. Tata, and Bruno Kirby. Look for a 3-DVD set (almost certainly double-sided discs, although that's not spelled out in the information we were given) that are once again in "thinpak" slim cases that slide into an outer slipcase box. Universal is setting the cost at $39.98 SRP for this package. That's all the early information that's provided so far, plus the postage stamp-sized artwork that you see.
