While we were digging around for information on
Adam-12 we came across information that leads us to believe
Emergency!, the series created by Jack Webb (
Dragnet), will be released on
August 23, the same day as
Adam-12, and possibly one other show.
It's likely that Universal will release the pilot movie, "The Wedsworth-Townsend Act," as well as the other 11 episodes from the first season. Please keep in mind that this title hasn't been announced by Universal, though we expect to hear something fairly soon. They've been grouping releases together lately, especially on their older material, so we strongly believe we'll see another classic title announced for August 23.
Emergency! is one of the
original 8 titles Universal announced plans for back in August, 2002.
