Ellery Queen - Cover Art, Small Delay and Pilot Telefilm Inclusion for The Complete Series

E1 brings it all home to you on 6 DVDs at the end of September

Posted by David Lambert
Back in April we exclusively reported that E1 Entertainment is preparing the long-awaited DVD release of Ellery Queen - The Complete Series, starring Jim Hutton and David Wayne. The original street date for this 6-disc set was August 24th, but then it was delayed a bit, to September 21st.

Now we've learned that E1 has decided they need an extra week to finish the project: they've pushed the release back seven days, to September 28th. That's the bad news; the good news is that they've finalized the cover art for this package, and we've got your first look at it below!

Also, it's come to our attention from one of our readers, Mark, that fans have been concerned about whether or not E1 will include the original pilot telefilm, "Too Many Suspects," on this release. We never had any doubts that it would be, but Mark forwarded us an e-mail from the studio confirming to him that it will indeed be on there.

Don't forget that a collectible book is included in the packaging, too, and that the cost is $59.98 SRP for the whole thing. We can't wait, can you?
