A week ago we gave you the first
heads-up that HBO's new hit,
Eastbound and Down - The Complete 1st Season (starring
Pineapple Express' Danny McBride) would be coming to DVD in June, complete with a nice list of extras. The specific date was the 23rd, according to HBO's own online store, but a couple of days later
we received box art (seen again below) from a Canadian source, and they said the 30th was the date there. We thought it might be a difference between street dates in the USA and Canada, but no...this morning HBO's distributor, Warner Home Video, offically announced the title, and they give the release date as
June 30th. They also gave us a formal list price for the first time, too, and that will be $29.98 SRP for the 2-disc set. But don't forget that you can order it from Amazon at a nice discount, using the button link below:
