shown you the baby-blue package art for Warner's
June 17 release of
ER - The Complete 9th Season...right? Wrong. This morning we've received updated artwork from the studio for season 9, and the color has been changed from a light blue to a dark maroon red. Why? It seems that some fans complained that the previous coloring didn't fit in with the appearance of the previous season set packages, and Warner's change is very likely due to those complaints. Besides the color change, they've replaced the "stethoscope" shot with an "action shot" of Lewis, Pratt and Lockhart. Speaking strictly for myself, I preferred the old coloring and box design...but then, nobody asked me!
