ER - Warner Announces Season 9

Warner Bros has just announced the 9th season of ER for release on June 17. Details are a little light right now, but we can tell you this will be a 6 disc set with all 22 episodes:

Mekhi Phifer formally joins the cast as Dr. Gregory Pratt (after first being introduced near the end of season eight). Dr. Romano (Paul McCrane; Fame, RoboCop) goes through a life-changing event. Guest stars (some of them recurring) include Heidi Swedberg, B.J. Ward, Marc McClure, Shirley Knight, Katee Sackhoff, Don Cheadle, Sally Field, Gedde Watanabe, Liz Torres, Edward Asner, Bruno Campos, Eli Wallach, Donal Logue, and Michael Gross.
The episodes will be presented in Anamorphic Widescreen (1.78:1), with English Stereo audio, and English subtitles, with the only bonus features will be a Gag Reel and Deleted Scenes. Suggested retail price is $49.98. Here's a look at the artwork:
