BURBANK, CA - After 15 years of emotional, heart-pounding excitement, America's longest-running primetime medical drama comes to homes for the last time. With the most Emmy nominations for a primetime television series in history, ER: The Complete Fifteenth and Final Season releases on DVD July 12, 2011 from Warner Home Video (WHV) for $49.98 SRP.

With the stakes higher than ever, there is never a dull moment at Chicago's County General. The hospital's doctors have to cope with too little sleep and too many patients, rushing to help and making split-second judgments that can mean the difference between life and death. Sirens wail, gurneys roll and tensions rise as medical miracles - or setbacks - unfold. The final season of ER checks out just as it checked in 15 seasons before: with an electrifying mix of complex characters from the past, rich storylines, brisk pacing and kinetic style. In addition to the return of Noah Wyle as original series regular John Carter, many beloved favorite characters from the past (some you expect, and some will surprise you) return in this 22-episode valedictory season of the series that set the bar for medical dramas.

The acclaimed final season starred John Stamos, Parminder Nagra, Linda Cardellini, Scott Grimes and Angela Bassett. The series was created by Michael Crichton and produced by Constant c Productions and Amblin Television, in association with Warner Bros. Television. Season 15 executive producers included Christopher Chulack, Crichton, John Wells, David Zabel, Janine Sherman Barrois and Joe Sachs. In addition, the ER series finale is credited as the most-watched drama series finale in 15 years, delivering 16.4 million total viewers.

"After 15 years, we are thrilled to release the final season of America's favorite and longest running medical drama," said Rosemary Markson, WHV Vice President, TV and Special Interest Marketing. "ER: The Complete Fifteenth and Final Season delivers devoted fans more jaw-dropping excitement as well as a moving retrospective of the groundbreaking series, making it a must-have for ER and medical drama collections."

DVD Bonus Features Include:
  • Deleted Scenes
  • Previously on ER: Retrospective Featurette - A look back at the last 15 years of ER
