Early this past week we brought you Paramount's
announcement that
Duckman - Seasons 3 & 4, the final two seasons of the series, is coming to DVD on
January 6th. Frankly, many of you expressed disbelief at this, due to the fact that these two seasons were noticably longer than the first two, and it was expected that these would be released separately...as opposed to this coming Tuesday's release of
Seasons 1 & 2 (which is 22 epsiodes on 3 discs).
But yes, we've confirmed that both the 3rd and 4th seasons really ARE coming out together, on a 7-disc set with all 48 episodes from both seasons. And bonus material is being planned for inclusion, but hasn't been finalized yet (so no details are available about them at this time). With all of that, you would expect the cost to be much higher than the first package, right? Well, no...according to
Amazon's pre-order listing, the list price is just $50.99 (approximately the same as Tuesday's release), and if you order now their discounted cost is just $35.99 as of this writing. Package art is still pending, but stay tuned and we'll bring you that as soon as it's available.
