A couple of days ago CBS/Paramount
announced that
Duckman - Seasons 1 and 2 will make it to DVD at last on
September 16th. We mentioned that there would be extras included, but had no info about what kinds of bonus materials would be found on this set. Now we've learned that retailers were given this info yesterday by the studio:
3-disc set features all 22 hilarious episodes from the first critically acclaimed two seasons. The set also includes brand new featurettes, including a behind-the-scenes look at original concept artwork and an audio commentary.
While it doesn't provide all the details, it's still a good place to start! Also yesterday, however, the studio informed retailers and press that the artwork previously shown for this release will in fact be revised. We're not sure how drastically different it will be, but they sent out the heads-up that the new version is on the way. Paramount hasn't sent it out yet, but they say it will be available soon, and we'll bring it to you when it arrives. Stay tuned, and in the meantime we'll give you one last look at the original version of the art they sent us (what you see below WILL change!):
