passed on a report from our friends at Sitcoms Online that
The Drew Carey Show - Television Favorites was headed to DVD. Today we received an e-mail from reader Jim Chamberlin, who got his new Best Buy ad in the mail this afternoon and was a bit surprised to see this in it:

December 13th, at $7.99 for a 6-Episode "best of" release. We obviously don't know what the episodes are yet, but we'll get a list for you just as soon as we can. You can also
pre-order this directly from BestBuy.com if you prefer.
At the time of the original "Television Favorites" report for
The Drew Carey Show, there were also reports of similar releases for
Alice, Night Court, Family Matters and
Step By Step. No word on what the status is of those releases, but we'll try to find out. Stay tuned!
