Last April, Best Buy got ahold of another one of their special DVD deals...and one which we frankly overlooked talking about here, unfortunately. The disc in question is called
Comedy Central Prime Cuts, and it came out as sort-of a marketing companion to
Crank Yankers - Season 1, Volume 1 (they both arrived on the same street date). Here's what you'll find on this "sampler" disc:
- Reno 911!: Episode #103 - When Officer Johnson's degenerate boyfriend Steed proposes, it's up to the Reno sheriffs to make sure he stays out of jail so he can make the wedding.
- South Park: Episode #404, "Timmy 2000" - When educators confuse Timmy's disability with attention deficit disorder, it triggers a wave of prescription drug abuse at South Park Elementary resulting
in a group of passive children who love Phil Collins.
- South Park: Episode #412, "Fourth Grade" - The kids begin 4th grade and their braless, lazy-eyed new teacher makes them long for the halcyon days of Mr. Garrison's 3rd grade classroom. They come up with a plot to travel back in time a full year, with the help of Timmy and his electronic wheelchair of death.
- Strangers with Candy: Episode #304, "Is My Daddy Crazy?" - Middle-aged high school student Jerri Blank learns the value of sanity when her stepmother's lover, Stew, begins stapling cheese squares to the roof of their house.
Up until now, Best Buy's been selling this for $14.99, but they apparently didn't sell out of them, because now they're going to give them away! This week only, from the Oct. 4th street date of
Drawn Together until week's end on Oct. 8th, anybody who purchases
Drawn Together and
Prime Cuts on the same receipt will get the

also available online. We've
already shown you the
