Join RuPaul, the most famous drag queen in the world, as the host, mentor and inspiration on Logo's second season of RuPaul's Drag Race, the ultimate drag queen competition. Playing a dual role, RuPaul reigns supreme in all judging and eliminations, while RuPaul, the man, helps guide the contestants as they prepare for each challenge.
Contestants include the nation's most outrageous, cutting-edge, talented and stunningly gorgeous drag queens all fighting for the title (and tiara) as top drag queen of the land. Each week, through the trials and tribulations of glam, glitter and show-stopping performances, one drag queen is eliminated until finding America's next drag superstar.
Although the first season of the Logo channel's reality show isn't on DVD (and strangely there's no word about whether it will be or not...how weird, right?), the folks at Amazon's CreateSpace manufacture-on-demand program are putting together DVD releases of RuPaul's Drag Race - Season 2 and, separately, RuPaul's Drag Race - Season 3 as well. The second season set comes on 3 discs running 536 minutes for $24.95 SRP, and the third season package consists of 4 DVDs running 745 minutes, for $29.95 SRP. No release date is provided at Amazon's pre-order listings (see button link just below), but word from Logo is that these will begin to be available starting Friday, November 18th.
