The Best of Dr. Katz is making its way from the TV screen onto your couch! Watch as America's favorite animated shrink analyzes today's funniest

A few weeks ago we
reported that Amazon had posted a listing (see button link below) for a December 9th release of a DVD they titled "
The Best Of Dr. Katz". Now Comedy Central/Paramount have formally announced this release, but their official information puts the release date at
December 2nd (which Amazon has now adjusted their listing to show).
Also, the studio has sent out early information about it to retailers, including a sneak peek at the possible front cover art to this single-disc release. According to that early artwork, they are tentatively putting the official title down as "
Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist - The Katz Files". Also, that artwork (if it doesn't change) shows that the included segments will apparently have guest stars such as Jon Stewart, Sarah Silverman, Ray Romano, Conan O'Brien, Denis Leary, Janeane Garofalo, Dave Chappelle and Dave Attell.
