Over a year ago we
reported that one of the first slate of releases from Amazon's "CreateSpace" MOD (manufacture on demand) program, mostly consisting of titles from Nickelodeon/Paramount, included the highly popular
Doug animated series, making
Season 1 and
Season 2 available to fans.
Now one of our readers, Lucas Schwellenbach (thanks!) sent us the heads-up that Amazon is now taking pre-orders for
Doug - Season 3 and
Doug - Season 4...the last two seasons that aired first-run on Nickelodeon (before the show shifted over to become "Disney's
Doug" with the fifth, sixth and seventh seasons.
For these new listings, there is no release date provided just yet. Both are taking pre-orders right now, at $35.98 for each 3-disc set. But instead of a release date, they only say "
This title has not yet been released. You may pre-order it now and we will deliver it to you when it arrives." Like the first two seasons, these will be CreateSpace MOD titles. Running time is 299 minutes for each title.
Season 3 includes episodes like "Doug's Fat Cat," "Doug Flies a Kite," "Doug's Hot Property," "Doug's Monster Movie," and others.
Season 4 will include 20 stories, such as "Doug's Fan Club," "Doug's Bum Rap," and " Doug Way Out West." Cover art isn't available yet, but stay tuned for that and a release date just as soon as we get them.
