Back in mid-November, we
alerted you that the 3rd and 4th seasons of
Doug would be represented on DVD through Amazon's CreateSpace manufacture-on-demand program. The complete
Doug - Season 3 set became available a few weeks ago, on December 8th. Today it's the fourth seasons's turn...but not the entire season! Recently Amazon alerted customers who had pre-ordered the release that it would be retitled
Doug - The Best of Season 4. Here's the note that went out:
Hello from Amazon.com. Thanks for ordering "Doug Season 4" from our Movies & TV store. We're writing because the producer of this item alerted us that not all of the original episodes from Season 4 are available for release. As a result, they've changed the title to “Doug - The Best of Season 4” and updated the list of episodes it will include.
That updated list is available at the Amazon listing. One of our readers, "Adam," took the time (thanks!) to figure out that the missing episodes are "Doug's Bum Rap" and "Doug's Babysitter"; according to this reader all the other episodes from that year are included. Amazon also updated their listing to show a release date...and that is today,
December 22nd. As of now the title is showing as in-stock. It also has updated cover art, with the new title:
