A week ago we
had the details about the
May 30th release of
The Doris Day Show - Season 3, all except for the final info about the extras. We had hoped to have the official list of extras direct from the source, but our friends at MPI haven't gotten that info to us. However, the folks at DorisDayTribute.com have
posted that info, and here is what they are saying the bonus content will be:
- Blooper Reel #2
- Cast Commercials
- Cast Interviews with BERNIE KOPELL (Louie Pallucci) and PHILIP BROWN (Billy Martin)
- Season 4 Preview
- Special Footage
- Young Love Pilot*
- Movie Trailer
- Doris Day Special Promo
- English Subtitles
You'll notice an asterisk (*) next to "
Young Love Pilot." Here is what they say over there that the asterisk means:
* The Young Love pilot was produced in early 1971 by Arwin Productions (Doris Day's company) as a proposed weekly series for CBS-TV. The network did not pick up Young Love as a series, though footage from the pilot was subsequently used in the episode of the same name that appeared in Season 3. New segments with Doris Day and Meredith Baxter were also added. CBS-TV later aired the original Young Love pilot on May 24, 1974. This DVD release heralds the first time the pilot will be seen in its original form since 1974!
Our thanks to Stephen Munns over there for letting us know he had this info, plus for recommending us to his readers!
