Last week we
reported that Virgil Films and Entertainment is working on a "best-of" release for
The Donna Reed Show, scheduled to be available on
April 13th (and perfectly timed for Mother's Day gift-giving in early May). We've now gotten the front cover art for this disc, and as you can see below the proper title is "
4 Family Favorites from The Donna Reed Show." We don't know which 4 episodes they are, but we have learned that these are all from the first three seasons of the program's run (so each is already available on DVD in the previously released season sets), and that the included episodes were hand-picked by cast members Paul Peterson and Shelley Fabares, and also by Donna Reed's family.
