A week ago we
reported about the on-disc extras for
Dollhouse - Season 2 for
DVD and high-def
Blu-ray Disc, both of which will be available day-and-date on
October 12th. Around the 'net, a "surprise" has been hinted at in conjunction with this title, waiting to be sprung at the San Diego Comic Con (which gets underway with "preview night" tonight).
Yesterday the folks at UGO.com
posted an exclusive first look at the main surprise: a Dark Horse-produced comic "
exclusive to the DVD/BD set, (that) was written by Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen." Titled "Epitaphs," the comic will be packed in with both versions of the set, according to UGO's updated information, no matter where you pre-order the title. That's only for a limited time, of course!
Jed and Maurissa will be there at Comic Con on Friday, 7/23 11:00am to 12:00 noon, signing things for fans. One of the things they might sign for you is a Dark Horse-produced
Dollhouse lithograph, which will be given away (while supplies last) at Comic Con exclusively to folks that pre-order the
Season 2 set on DVD or Blu-ray, from Fox, while there at the event. See the folks at Fox's SDCC booth for details!
