It's been a month since we broke the news about the March 28th release in North America (Region 1) of Doctor Who - The Beginning. Since then we've been waiting for word of the extras, but distributor Warner Home Video hasn't passed along any yet. However, one of our readers and Home Theater Forum member Tony J. Case has posted at the HTF the same supplement info we're looking for! Oh, he got it from the Region 2 (European) specs, and of course you all know we don't normally relay Region 2 info here because it is so apt to change. But we tend to make exceptions just for Doctor Who, because the BBC has mandated for a while now that the releases in both regions *must* be identical (so that there are no complaints from fans on either shore that they are missing out on something that someone else got...other studios could take a lesson from that, methinks!).
As you can see if you visit the HTF post at the link above, Tony thought we were taking the holidays off here at TVShowsOnDVD, which is why he didn't send us the info straight off. How silly of him; we never sleep or rest here! So without further delay, here is Tony's info quoted exactly (and if something changes when Warner and the BBC make the official announcement of the enhanced content, we'll let you know):
