Following up on the
MASSIVE Doctor Who DVD Update we posted the other day, we now have new information for you about two of the releases discussed there.
The previous information all came from
the DoctorWhoNews.com page at the Outpost Gallifrey website. Well, the fine folks from that site posted an update yesterday about the summer releases, plus got an answer to a question posed in the previous story:
We've learned more about the DVD releases coming in 2004 and early 2005, as Outpost Gallifrey noted in our Sunday news report. Both The Curse of Fenric and The Two Doctors will indeed be out on June 1 (we hope to bring you the cover illustrations as soon as they're available, possibly tomorrow.) Meanwhile, we have been told that Earthshock is indeed on the list of probable releases for the next twelve months, though it was accidentally left off the email BBCAmericaShop sent out to enquiring parties.
Our thanks to my old friend Shaun Lyon at Outpost Gallifrey for continuing to be so on-the-spot with his information, and we'll be looking forward to bringing you that cover art as soon as it's available.
We also have a cookie for Rich Kirkpatrick, a great TVShowsOnDVD reader who has contributed a LOT of tips lately. Thanks, Rich! Stay tuned for the official announcements from BBCAmerica and distributor Warner Home Video.
