Well, THAT didn't take long! Just the past Monday we reported
that the first part was being released as a half-season set on June 10th. Now BBC Home Entertainment and distributor Warner Home Video have announced that Doctor Who - The 3rd Series, Part 2
will be available July 8th
for $19.96 SRP. The 2-disc set will come with seven episodes: "42," "Human Nature," "The Family of Blood," "Blink," "Utopia," "The Sound of Drums" and "Last of the Time Lords."
Extras haven't been announced yet, but if the BBC continues on this release as they have with the previous releases of this sort, then we expect them to include a new featurette called, "Doctor Who: A New Dimension - The Making of Doctor Who: Series 3, Part 2
." Stay tuned and we'll see if that's what happens. Also stay tuned for the cover art, which hasn't been finalized yet...but we'll bring that to you as soon as we can!
