Doctor Who -6th Doctor's Only Unreleased Serial (His Debut!) Announced for DVD, Plus a 1st Doctor Story

BBC Video's North American distributor, Warner Home Video, has today announced that two more classic stories from the original Doctor Who series will be coming to DVD in the USA on January 5th. One of them is the only unreleased-to-DVD serial starring Colin Baker as The 6th Doctor. Ironically it's the 4-part story which first introduced this incarnation of the Time Lord: Doctor Who - Story #137: The Twin Dilemma. Also available on the same day will be a 6-part story starring William Hartnell as The 1st Doctor, in one of the early serials that is still completely available: Doctor Who - Story #005: The Keys of Marinus. Each will be a single-disc release with a $24.98 list price. Immediately below is the available information for each title, including extras per the Restoration Team's website. Doctor Who - Story #137: The Twin Dilemma
The Doctor has regenerated, and all is not well. Confused, angry and acting strangely, the new Doctor decides to become a hermit, so takes his concerned companion Peri to a desolate asteroid where he plans to live for several centuries. The time travelers soon uncover a plot that threatens the entire galaxy. But why has an alien gastropod kidnapped twin boys from Earth, and will the Doctor recover in time to find out?

Doctor Who - Story #005: The Keys of Marinus
On a remote island of glass surrounded by a sea of acid, there is a machine that can remove evil from the minds of an entire population - the Conscience of Marinus. Fearful of its immense power falling into the wrong hands, its sole guardian has scattered the machine's operating keys across the planet. The TARDIS crew arrives to find the island under attack by the evil Voord. Marinus' last line of defense - and its only hope - is the Conscience machine. The Doctor and his companions must undertake a deadly quest to recover the keys of Marinus.
