Back in August
we reported that the PAX network's #1 show,
Doc, would be coming to DVD in 2004.

Video Store Magazine had
a story today about a new label, PAX Home Entertainment, being put together to produce the DVDs for both this and
Ponderosa (another PAX hit), to be distributed by Ventura Distribution (per the August deal).
Following up with Ventura, we have learned that
Doc - Season 1 will be a 9-hour, 3 disc release that will hit the shelves on February 3rd, at a list price of $39.99. Extras mentioned include Trailers, Bloopers, and an Interview with series star Billy Ray Cyrus called "From Music to Medicine." Other specs (such as audio and video formats) were not disclosed.
