The Dick Van Dyke Show is back again, this time for the penultimate season of the show. Image Entertainment and Paul Brownstein Productions bring you the fourth season of this incredibly funny television classic. We owe our thanks to "Greg OS" at the Home Theater Forum for letting us know that this information had been released. Here's Image's write-up and cover art:
Pratfall-prone Rob Petrie (Dick Van Dyke) and his plucky wife Laura (Mary Tyler Moore), along with wisecracking co-workers Sally (Rose Marie) and Buddy (Morey Amsterdam), captured America's hearts in this TV favorite that irresistibly combined wit and slapstick.
This 5-DVD box set arrives on April 27th (two weeks later than
originally reported). For the suggested list price of $69.99, you get 32 episodes (see list at bottom) running at 810 minutes. And there's a long list of extras for this set:
- Audio Commentaries Featuring Carl Reiner and Dick Van Dyke for Selected Episodes
- Interviews with Cast and Producers
- Rehearsal Footage
- Theme Song Performance at the Hollywood Bowl, 2001
- Dick Van Dyke Remembers Don Rickles
- Roddy McDowall Photo Gallery
- Original Commercials Featuring the Cast and Network Promotional Spots

Nice! Worth waiting an extra 2 weeks for, right? It should be noted here that
Season 5 is also going to be pushed back two weeks from the originally reported date: look for it to arrive on June 29th, to finish out the series. Stay tuned for a full announcement regarding it.
But we still have
Season 4 to enjoy before we worry about that! As always, these episodes come to you in their original presentation: Black & White full frame video, and English Mono audio. And here's that list of episodes we promised you:
