some news we posted last December, mentioning that Shout! Factory was planning to release
The Dick Cavett Show to DVD in themed disc sets, starting with a "Woodstock" theme of show guests who are rock legends that performed at the famous concert.

listed that release now,
The Dick Cavett Show - Rock Icons, showing a planned release date of
July 26th. Unfortunately, the information posted at the online e-tailer doesn't include the names of which guest stars would be found on this release, but
one news post quoted Shout!'s president, Garson Foos, as saying, "
The guests we're trying to get rights to range from Woodstock performers like Joni Mitchell and Jefferson Airplane to John Lennon and Yoko Ono, who were the sole guests on two shows."
Look for a 3-DVD set with a list price of $39.95, and stay tuned because we'll have more to come about this just as soon as we can get Shout! to give us the details!
