In our first news post five weeks ago about Cartoon Network Halloween - 9 Creepy Cartoon Capers, we happily passed on to our readers what little we knew about the contents, and said we'd try to get an episode list. At the time, the big news was that much-requested-for-DVD show Johnny Bravo would be represented.
Now, thanks to a heads-up by the folks over at ToonZone.net, we have gotten ahold of the press release sent out on the BusinessWire system yesterday by Warner Home Video. It lists all the episodes on the DVD, and the great news is that an even more highly requested animated series is included. The first Dexter's Laboratory episode to be sold at retail on DVD will be "Picture Day," a 1997 episode from the second season that has Dexter trying to transform his face into something more "beefcake" for the school picture...with bad results, of course.
It's a small start, but perhaps a hot response to this might lead to more Dexter's Lab on DVD. We can only hope...
