Dexter, coming to DVD on
August 21 in a 4-disc set with all 12 episodes of the 1st Season. Besides those hour-long episodes (running almost 11 hours long) there are some extras, in the form of two cast commentary tracks, 2 bonus episodes of Showtime's
Brotherhood, a featurette called "The Academy of Blood: A Killer Course!" and a free Showtime series episodic download (N Technology). Here is Showtime's description of the release, and below that is the front cover:
Dexter is based on the compelling novel "Darkly Dreaming Dexter" by Jeff Lindsay. Orphaned at the age of four and harboring a traumatic secret, Dexter Morgan (Dexter Morgan (Emmy- and Golden Globe- nominated actor Michael C.
