September 1st, when Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment presents the DVD release of
Desperate Housewives - The Complete 5th Season. The studio has only otherwise revealed that the cost of this set will be $59.99 SRP in the US and CA$79.99 for Canadians. UPDATE: Well, that wasn't too long of a wait. Disney has now supplied us with a look at the package art for this 7-disc set, which you can see below. You'll notice that this is subtitled "The Red Hot Edition" (appropriate for this group of ladies, eh?). These 24 episodes run 1032 minutes, and will include a nice list of supplements: Audio Commentaries, Bloopers, Deleted Scenes, "Cherry Picked" (creator Marc Cherry's favorite moments), a Table Read Piece, "Miss Piggy Takes Wisteria Lane," a featurette called "Teri & Cherry" and another one called "
Desperate Housewives: Evolution of a Modern Classic".
